Day 2 ......Awake in Hawaii....

We took a shuttle to the airport and we're on our way.... ALMOST!!!!!

We get up to the ticket counter. We have our luggage and carry ons and our e-tickets. I get checked in just fine. No problem. Jim, however has a different story.... I'll let him tell it....

the lady made me give her my druivers license and my ticket and goes away ---we'll just have to check something--some girl said thatmy namd came up --  like a terrorist - really gone for a few minuts five or ten and then my loively wife starts tlking about maybe leaving me behind and trying tohave vfun without me in e-wi=e hA HA.  BUT I MADE IT.  SHITASS LONG TRIP WITH FOUR HOURS IN la AND then a five and a half hour trip here... really late our time.

Luckily, Tom (Jim's brother), and Anne (Tom's wife) came to the airport and picked us up.... and (I'm pretty sure it was because it was Valentine's Day), we GOT LAID!!! I mean lei'd.... They gave us beautiful leis and I keep forgetting to wear it, but they are beautiful. I'll try to get a picture posted if I remember.

Feb 15th
We're in Tom and Anne's beautiful condo in Wailea, Maui.....
The weather here is an incredible 72 degrees or so in the AM, and a high today of 80 degrees... There's always a cool breeze blowing....
the condo has a pool and hot tub and is amazingly beautiful! Flowers and incredible tropical plants everywhere. Ginger plants as high as our heads.

I'll try to post pix of the beautiful grounds and a little of the condo.

We are also trying to see a little of the Olympics, so here's a pic of Tom watching the Men's Short Program figure skating:
