I've gone back on previous posts and added a few things, but that was hard and confusing.
Jim and I have just realized that we're on what locals call: "Aloha Time." It's almost impossible to get anything done here. I'm spacey and forgetful. On the bright side, I'm super relaxed, totally in the moment, not worrying about yesterday or tomorrow.... This means it's kinda hard to plan to get things organized. We want to go to go on a whale watch and we may go to Molokini to snorkel with the fish and turtles... Who knows... No worries...
In the meantime, a couple of days ago, we went to the beach with Tom and Anne and went sunning and boogie boarding...
Here is the gallery of pics that all you girls have been waiting for....
Here's Tom teaching Jim the basics at Makena Beach landing....
Okay Jim, now you go for it! You can do it!
Jim gets trounced. Yep, that's Jim in there......
Jim was in the surf for HOURS.... That's how he got to be lobster man. He still is pink, but it's getting better... Not peeling yet...
It was really great fun, though... Thank goodness Annette's suit fits! (mine didn't) YIKES!
After going to Makena Beach Landing, we drove down to Big Beach where there's a lot of surf, but the red flag was out there too so they advised against surfing... Here's the four of us there:
Great family, Great friends, Great FUN!!!
Sorry they're not still here with us....
I got burned fairly bad but am healing now. I don't know about the blog but its fridsay and we are headed for Lahina and shave ices and more boarding and the big block around something tree and whatever. Last night -- yesterday afternoon trip to the aquarium zillions of fish, sharks and all thaqt junk-pretty cool. Then mai-tais Captain Morgan is your friend when fried literally and physically. I really worried about all my clients calling maytha and agravating her with needs that only i could fill- deep desires and lonely for Mr. Gail worries.Let alone the vast holes of need from Douglas and ?Steven probably can not even think. Some of the staff walking arou nd in a hall with no delightful singing and no agraqvating name calli ng or ball throwing or witty aloha hangman skills aor numchuck skills or bragging. My darling wife is monitoring my behavior as best she can and doing a bang up job. I know the supervisors are feeling better due to not having to console so many delicate flowers i hurt throughout the day. gotta get going so i can work on this burn.!!!My plan is to haqvve the sun burn off the cancer i've developed.
